Skin is affected by external factors, such as heat, sun and humidity and internal factors such as hormone levels, stress and hydration. Summer weather can make skin more oily and acne prone and winter weather can make the most normal skin sensitive and dry. Managing your skin throughout the seasons, keeps your skin healthy and happy.

The first step to managing your skin is to understand your skin type, weather your skin is normal, dry, sensitive, oily, acne prone or combination.

  • Benefits of Botox, it’s more than skin deep

Botox has a long history, as it was originally discovered in the 60’s by an ophthalmologist, Dr. Alan Scott to cure crossed eyes then approved in the late 80”s, since that time it has been used over the past 17 plus years to treat numerous medical conditions, some FDA approved and others still in the experimental stage.

Botox is commonly used to treat migraines, excessive sweating, and recently for overactive bladder, and most commonly for wrinkle reduction. Other not approved methods are for hair rejuvenation and breast lifts, these are experimental at this time but may be possibly FDA approved at some point in time. Presently there are over 90 patent applications for Botox use with the FDA.
