We’re going to let you in on one of our secrets to beautiful skin: the Skinceuticals micro peel treatment. It’s effective, non-invasive and delivers immediate results, though a series of 6 will render an even more amazing complexion. The procedure is a unique three step approach, which combines dermaplaning, a gentle peel, and cryotherapy. To commence this fabulous treatment, Dermaplaning is first performed. Also referred to as epidermal resurfacing, this is a technique which gently scrapes away the top dead layer of skin using a special tool. An added bonus is it’s effectiveness in reducing vellous hair, aka “peach fuzz”. Next, a gentle peel is applied for no more than a couple minutes, creating a deeper exfoliation, stimulating collagen and elastin, reducing uneven skin tone and texture, and lightening hyper pigmentation and sun damage. Lastly, one of our trained clinical estheticians will perform a special treatment called cryotherapy. The term comes from the Greek ‘cryo’, meaning cold, and ‘therapy’, meaning cure. The purpose is to decrease erythema and edema by promoting the constriction of blood vessels, tighten and firm, and also to inhibit bacteria on the skin associated with acne.
